What is Bullying?
A type of abuse done to any other human being; it is done repetitively and not just once!
It can be constantly picking on someone else, kicking and punching can cause physical hurt, verbal abuse may hurt more as unkind words may stick for longer – the old saying “sticks and stones may break my bones…”
It can be repeatedly causing someone else to feel sad so that the bully can have fun or get attention.
Examples of bullying could be:
Insulting others with unkind words; it could be about the way others look and if they are different – for example racist comments if people have got different coloured skin, different accents, simply talking about others can make children feel upset, particularly if there are private family issues being discussed.
