School Trips From time to time teachers will organise trips for their classes, and during their time at the school, the children will be offered both day trips and residential trips. There is a very strict procedure for organising school trips, to ensure the safety of all children. We cannot allow children off the school premises without your written consent, and there may be times when your child may not be able to go, for safety reasons, if they haven't brought the right kit. Please make sure you return the permission slip beforehand and equip them properly on the day. The governors wish to keep available to all children the opportunities provided by trips and visits to out-of-school venues. It is the school policy to request voluntary contributions from parents towards the cost of the trips. Children whose parents are in receipt of Income Support or Job Seekers Allowance are entitled to remission of costs for the board and lodging element of any residential visits. In the case of particular hardship parents are asked to contact the school office. Please make sure you send all money to the school office in a sealed, named envelope.
