As part of our local history topic this half term, Year 6 will be visiting Saunton Beach this Friday 14th June to experience the sights and sounds of the historical preparations for the D-Day invasion.
They will have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the WWII era by taking part in a series of activities on the beach. Children will be able to interact with installations recreating the Normandy defences, a WAAF war room and view period planes landing on the beach!
