This half term in art we have been focusing on painting. We have been learning to use various brush strokes, experimenting with different paints (water colour, acrylic and poster paint) and colour mixing. To link with our topic, we compared the work of Claude Monet and William Turner and discussed the tone, texture, shape, colour and line the artists used to paint a river. Using our art knowledge, we will each create a painting of the part of the river from our river trip to Wildersbrook.
