Our Vision and Values
Our Shared Vision for Education
'Life in all its fullness'
"I have come to bring you life. Life in all its fullness." John 10:10
We have aligned our own school’s vision with the Church of England vision for Education. We feel that it more closely reflects the needs of our community and will bring about common good for all. We believe it reflects the full curriculum we have to offer, the extra-curricular opportunities that are available and a renewed focus on pupils' wider personal development.
Our School's Core Values
Our shared values help us to achieve our School Vision. They become the foundation for all we do in school.
Wisdom Hope Community Dignity
Educating for wisdom, knowledge and skills: enabling discipline, confidence and delight in seeking wisdom and knowledge, and developing talents in all areas of life.
Educating for hope and aspiration: enabling healing, repair and renewal, coping wisely when things go wrong, opening horizons and guiding people into ways of fulfilling them.
Educating for community and living well together: a core focus on relationships, participation in communities and the qualities of character that enable people to flourish together.
Educating for dignity and respect: the basic principle of respect for the value and preciousness of each person, treating each person as a unique individual of inherent worth.
In our school, you will see children flourishing in a caring Christian community. Children will be learning important knowledge through having great experiences and putting this to good use for their own good living and that of their fellow human beings. You will see children being supported in being healthy in mind, body and spirit. Children will be developing their skills in sport, art, music, debate, writing and experience the joy of learning new things and being able to see the world in different ways.
You can read about the many ways in which our school's ethos is enhanced in the blog below.
