DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY
DT is a fun and engaging subject which we know that the children in our school really enjoy getting involved in. It gives the children the opportunity to express their creativity and explore the wonderful world of design and technology. In a world that is becoming more and more reliant on technology, it is vital that we are developing the next generation of engineers, architects and designers.
Designing and making in Design & Technology is founded upon a simple mantra:
"We are designing and making something for somebody for some purpose"

In our school, we want our pupils to be and see themselves as architects, chefs, inventors and designers.
Our Design and Technology projects, planned using the DT Association's 'Project on a Page', are carefully designed to ensure our pupils become experts in the design and making process. Below is a summary of the structure of each of our DT projects.
