4TS at Simonsbath

4TS had an amazing action-packed trip to Simonsbath House this week. We went on an assault course, tried archery, climbing and a zip wire. We had a fantastic torch-lit night walk and built shelters in the dark! Although some of us were a little nervous, we all stayed overnight and loved sharing with our room mates. Some of us even wished we could have stayed for a second night. On the second day, we learned all about the River Barle and then went for a river walk along its banks. The staff at the centre were impressed that we could spot many of the features (such as tributary, confluence, flood plains, meander) we had learned about in our Geography lessons. Look at our photos and see if you can work out what ‘land rafting’ is.
