Rocking the Stone Age
Our Stone Age Immersion Day was an unforgettable adventure! Dressed as Stone Age people, we stepped back in time to experience what life was like thousands of years ago. Inside our 'cave,' gathered around the fire, we listened to a captivating story that brought the era to life. We got creative by building biscuit-henge , inspired by the famous Stonehenge, and produced our own cave paintings. We explored real artefacts and researched fascinating facts about early humans. Year 5 Vikings Day
Last Friday, Year 5 travelled back in time to the age of the Vikings! The children looked incredible — we were absolutely blown away by the creativity and effort that went into their amazing costumes. A huge thank you to all our parents and carers for helping to make the day so special. Throughout the day, the children explored what life was like in Viking times, listened to exciting Norse tales, and even sampled some Viking-inspired food! It was a fantastic day full of fun,


4EB - History
During our immersion day, we found out about the daily lives of the people who lived in Ancient Greece. We learned about the original Olympic Games and those who took part in it. We made laurel leaf crowns out of paper like the winners would have worn and took part in our own mini Olympics. We also made paintings of Greek terracotta pots designed with the patterns and images of the time. Our favourite part of the day was tasting some food from the place and time including
