4EB - History

During our immersion day, we found out about the daily lives of the people who lived in Ancient Greece.  We learned about the original Olympic Games and those who took part in it.  We made laurel leaf crowns out of paper like the winners would have worn and took part in our own mini Olympics.  We also made paintings of Greek terracotta pots designed with the patterns and images of the time.  Our favourite part of the day was tasting some food from the place and time including bread, olives, feta cheese and figs.
