Year 4 - Geography Walk
In October, Year 4 went on a local river walk. We followed the East Wilder River from Bicclescombe Park, which is close to its source, to its mouth at Wildersmouth Beach. A huge thank you to all our parents and carers for helping to make the day so special. Throughout the day, the children explored what life was like in Viking times, listened to exciting Norse tales, and even sampled some Viking-inspired food! It was a fantastic day full of fun,

4EB - History
During our immersion day, we found out about the daily lives of the people who lived in Ancient Greece. We learned about the original Olympic Games and those who took part in it. We made laurel leaf crowns out of paper like the winners would have worn and took part in our own mini Olympics. We also made paintings of Greek terracotta pots designed with the patterns and images of the time. Our favourite part of the day was tasting some food from the place and time including
