In Religion and World Views, we have been learning about what it is like to be a Muslim living in Britain. The pupils have been so interested in learning about the religion of Islam and understanding the importance of respect and tolerance. As part of our learning, we had a visit from Khadeja, who is a Muslim living in North Devon. She spoke about her experiences from living in war-torn Syria to living in a camp for 5 years before finally moving and settling in the UK. The pupils had lots of questions and listened well to her answers. Khadeja showed us how she puts on her hijab by dressing up Mrs Spelman - what do you think?
