As part of our Geography work, learning about the oceans, we went to visit Westward Ho! and the famous 'pebble ridge.' We went for a walk along the sand dunes and identified the different coastal features that we have been learning about in class and noticed that this area has experienced coastal erosion at a faster rate than other areas. We had great fun creating sand models of coastal features and the stages of erosion and enjoyed building a stone bridge to help the public to get across a big puddle. Lots of fun, great teamwork and wonderful experiences!
