Covid-19 Update

Dear parents and carers,

I hope you are all well. I am writing with a short update following the Government's plans to lift the remaining Covid-19 restrictions at Step 4. Having had the chance to read through the latest changes to school settings, we can confirm the following:

July 19th - July 23rd

  • Class bubbles will not need to isolate in the event of a positive case. Instead, NHS Test and Trace will inform close contacts to isolate and we will support them with this for the final week of term.

  • From August 16th, children will not be required to self isolate as a close contact and instead will be advised to seek a PCR test.

  • Staggered starts will remain in place until the end of term and we will return to normal school drop off and collection times in September - more details to follow.

  • Parents will not be required to wear face coverings on school grounds - this will be a personal choice.

  • We will continue to support children with home learning and laptops if they are required to self-isolate

  • Some current measures may be reintroduced in the event of an outbreak

We will provide more details soon about the Autumn Term. School is expected to very much return to 'normal' whilst retaining a focus on respiratory and hand hygiene, good ventilation and enhanced cleaning.
