Wilf Saunders, Amber and Wilson Barrington completed the Gliddon & Squire cross country league at the weekend, representing Ilfracombe Junior School. The final race was at West Buckland on Sunday in bitterly cold conditions. Amber and Wilson came home with medals but unfortunately Wilf wasn't there to defend his top ranking as he tested positive for covid. Wilf has raced extremely well in previous league races so he still took home a trophy and finished in the top six.
This league takes place every year for those interested in competing, 6 events within North Devon and competition is against other schools.
