'Normal Magic'

At Ilfracombe Junior School, we understand and value the importance of supporting our young people in looking after their mental health. Alongside the mental health programme taught to the children in school, we recently offered some parent workshops, which gave parents information about mental health and useful strategies as to how they could help their child/children stay mentally healthy. The feedback from the workshop was exceptionally positive!

‘It is very reassuring to know that the school is so aware of the children’s mental health and are supporting parents.’

‘Really interesting and informative workshop. Glad that children and parents are learning more about mental health at an early age.’

‘Interesting and informal workshop that was well worth attending as found most useful. Thank you.’

The workshops were known as ‘Normal Magic’. All of the resources and the presentation shown can be found on our school website on the Well-Being page.
