Swimarathon

On Sunday 3rd February, we have been invited to enter teams of swimmers in the annual Lions Swimarathon. The teams consist of six children and they take it in turns to swim a length of Ilfracombe Pool. As they swim for 55 minutes in this relay form, the children need to be able to swim a length and then after a rest swim again. It is not a race.

We have attended this event for a few years now and have always had fun taking part. We have raised a large amount of money for the school and other local charities.
