4AC had a fantastic time at our Simonsbath residential trip before half term. There was much mud and merriment! We increased our perseverance whilst trying to free ourselves from the mud (many wellies were stuck and very kindly rescued by Simon!) and discovered who could eat the heartiest breakfast. We hit things (many different things!) in archery, built some fantastic dens in the woods, practised our circus skills and dangled from high ropes after building tall towers of wobbling crates. On the second day, we impressed the staff at Simonsbath with our knowledge of the features of rivers and then went on a river walk where we sketched a meander and ended up carrying out investigations in the river .
