After their beach trip to Hele Bay before the half term, 5OL have concluded their geography fieldwork at Westward Ho! beach.
The two trips showcased the children's knowledge of the features of the coast and how they are formed. The fieldwork study provided opportunities to investigate the research question: Are two beaches the same?
In the images below, you can see how the children were set the challenge to create models of the coast to explain the features and how they are formed.
The children are now working on interactive PowerPoints to teach people about the coast, it's many features and why it is such a special place.
