Antarctica Topic Ending

We are coming to the end of our Antarctica topic and, having learnt about the continent we have entered the 'dialectic' phase in which we use our knowledge to consider and debate a question. 'Should we protect Antarctica or use its resources for our energy needs?' was the question we have been discussing; weighing up the merits of both sides of the argument- it has certainly made us challenge our own opinions and base them on fact rather than emotion!
