For year 5’s PSHE unit, we are looking at Careers and Aspirations. We are hoping to be inspired by different careers and start thinking about what careers we would like to aspire to.
To help us to feel excited about the topic, we invited in some parents to talk to us about their careers. We learnt about academic jobs, physical jobs and creative jobs – showing the children that there are a wide range of jobs to choose from.
A big thank you to our visitors for talking to the children about how they got into their careers and how they have built their careers to what they are.
