Computing has started with a strong emphasis on keeping children safe online by giving children opportunities to respond respectfully to online messages.
As a whole school we have explored a school led level system where by children understand the severity of a given online issue. Children are then taught the appropriate strategies so they became empowered to take an appropriate lead in their online life.
Up next is a host of learning opportunities for pupils to increase their typing speed and accuracy. Can you type 10 words per minute? 20 words? even 30? These are our aims as we look to prepare pupils for their future online.
