This half term in art, we have been focusing on drawing skills and techniques. We have practised a range of pencil techniques such as cross-hatching, stippling and contouring. Our overall aim was to create a drawing of a Viking longboat. Therefore, we isolated small areas of the picture and used the pencil techniques that we had looked at to add shade to it. We reflected upon our drawings and looked for ways to improve them before drafting our final pieces of art. Please enjoy looking at some of our lovely Viking longboat drawings.
