We are so proud to say that after having her writing entered in the Appledore Book Festival Writing Competition 2020, Emelia Davis in 3EC was highly commended. This is such an incredible achievement as she was up against children across the whole of Key Stage 2 (Year 3-6), from a range of schools!
'I absolutely love writing so I am so happy my story was chosen to be entered into the competition. I am really proud of myself. My story was based on Daphne and the Doughnuts from The Book of Hopes. I wrote my own version all about a mole and a girl named Milly.' Emelia Davis 3EC
