Learning About Mental Health

Throughout the next half term, each class are taking part in some sessions in school which will teach them about mental health. Gaining a better understanding of what mental health is and how things in our brains work will, in turn, support the children in being able to look after their our mental health effectively. The initial session is based around developing a better vocabulary to help the describe their emotions and also recognising how people might behave if they experiencing different emotions.

3CO have done some fantastic art work which helped demonstrate their understanding of the different emotions. They have communicate their thoughts through the use of a variety of lines and colours.
