Ready for Anything

Schools are being encouraged to practice and implement 'ready for anything' procedures. This is sometimes necessary to ensure that all children and staff are safe and accounted for within the setting. It does need to be stressed that, although highly unlikely, there may be a number of reasons why such a procedure may be necessary, for example:

· A dog loose on the school grounds

· The Air Ambulance needing to land on the school field

· A local gas or chemical leak

Over the next few weeks, we will be practicing some options to see how this could work in our school and so your children may come home and talk to you about this.

Please do not hesitate to contact me should you wish to discuss this any further.
