Why is Ilfracombe here?
To start our new geography topic, all the Year 3 classes ventured down to Ilfracombe Museum. As part of the day, we explored and studied all the old photographs of different areas of Ilfracombe, that the Museum had prepared for us! It was amazing to see how Ilfracombe has developed over time, and how many Victorian features we still have. Using the old pictures and a map, we walked around to find and compare the photographed areas in Ilfracombe. We will be using this information to inform our learning throughout the topic.
