Another amazing World Book Day at Ilfracombe Church of England Junior School! Thank you to all the pupils - and parents - for all the efforts with the costumes. The children looked fantastic and were very proud to say which character they represented.
The children had a full day of poetry performances. Chris - our performance poet regular - came in to share with the children his own performance of each year groups current poem. Every week, our school has Poetry Friday - an exciting lesson were pupils really get to know a new poet and poem each half term. See our Reading page for more details.
