On Friday 2nd November, the Year 3 children did their first performance to parents since joining Ilfracombe Junior School. This was an opportunity for the children to showcase what they had learnt so far in the Autumn term. The children wowed their audience by sharing the knowledge they had acquired about their history topic, the Stone Age and their Science topic, Rocks and Soils. They also showed some of their amazing artwork linked to the study of the famous artist Paul Cezanne and performed on the Taiko drums as well as producing a musical piece inspired by the Stone Age topic.
Although the children were focusing on sharing the great academic progress they had made, it was really clear to see just how far they had come as individuals with regard to their learning behaviour, confidence and maturity over the last half term too.
We are all exceptionally proud of them!
