Year 4 and Year 6 share Poems

Year 4 and year 6 children have buddied up this week to share the poems they have been learning about over the course of this half term.

Year 4 shared their poem called, 'Guess Who?' which leads the reader on a journey to guess which woodland animal they are describing.

Year 6 have been studying the poem 'Life doesn't frighten me' by Maya Angelou and have used this to create their own poem based around their geography unit on rainforest. Their poems, titled, ' Deforestation doesn't sound good to me' followed the theme of Angelou and gave an insight into the issues deforestation is having on our world.

Well done to everyone involved, a lovely activity enjoyed by all.
