In Geography Year 5 have been learning about oceans and coasts. We can name and locate the oceans of the world. We discovered how currents move and learnt that they can transport items (such as rubber bath-ducks) around the world. Over the term we have been lucky enough to spend time putting our geography skills to test at Hele Bay with an ocean expert. We learnt about the benefits and uses of oceans and how they are utilised in different ways depending on their coastal features.
