4TS Simonsbath Trip

4TS had a fantastic time at our Simonsbath residential trip this week.  There was much mud and merriment!  We learnt a vital technique for releasing wellies stuck in the mud (push your knees forward) and discovered who could eat the heartiest breakfast.  We hit things (many different things!) in archery, built dens in the woods, practised our circus skills and dangled from high ropes after building tall towers of wobbling crates.  On the second day, we impressed the staff at Simonsbath with our knowledge of the features of rivers and then went on a river walk where we sketched a meander and ended up carrying out investigations in the river.
