5RM went surfing at Puttsborough beach. We worked with the Nick Thorn Surf School to learn how to paddle, catch waves and stand up. It was a trip that stretched us out of our comfort zones but with some resilience and determination, everyone that was in the water, got on a surf board and caught a wave!
In the afternoon, we learnt how to be lifeguards. We learnt about the equipment that lifeguards use and had a go at using it to save each other.
We all had a great day and would like to say a big thank you to Charlie and his team. They support us all and helped to us achieve as much as we could!
