Bear Hunt 5JR,5SD and 3RL

On Friday, 5JR, 5DS and 3RL visited the Landmark Theatre for an art workshop with Jennie Child. Jennie was one of many artists who have created a bear for the Children’s Hospice Bear Hunt. We heard how Jennie took inspiration from our local wildlife, using our wonderful museum for inspiration. On Jennie’s bear, she discussed her process of design and included a lovely variety of marine and forest wildlife; lots of our children took a similar theme and they all produced great work they should be very proud of. Volunteers at the Landmark and Museum spoke of our students’ excellent behaviour during our trips and it was a brilliant opportunity for children to visit the museum if they had not done so before.
