A group Year 3 and 4 children had a fantastic day out in Braunton on the athletics track for North Devon summer school games qualifier. Although they did not qualify, each child did very well in each of the events. These events were 50m sprints, Vortek throw, standing long jump and 400m run. Harry Bulled achieved an incredible record from the day for his vortek throw getting 26.50m. Oli Webster won both 50m and 400m.
The children performed brilliantly and made the school proud with their outstanding behaviour and sportsmanship. Well done to all of those involved!
