In Year 4, we have been learning what it means when we say that the Trinity is ‘3 in 1’. We found out about both adult and infant baptism, first learning the story of Jesus being baptised in the river Jordan and exploring the symbolism of water in the Christian religion. In St Peter’s Church, Father John talked us through a mock infant baptism and explained the different steps and roles in the ceremony. To show our understanding of the Trinity, we created artworks representing God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Can you spot the symbols we used? Jesus is represented by a cross or a figure, God is represented by light or a sun rise and the Holy Spirit is shown as a dove or angel.
