SATs Tests for Year 6

Next week, all Year 6 children will be taking their end of KS2 SATs tests. We would like to invite the children in to school for a brain-boosting breakfast to help everybody feel prepared and relaxed beforehand.

The Breakfast Club will begin at 8.25am in the Hall and will run Monday to Thursday.

It is extremely important that all children be in school on time during the week in order for us to comply with test regulations. Please could you ensure your child is in school from 8.45am if they are not attending the Breakfast Club. An early night throughout the week and a bottle of water in school each day will also be very helpful to ensure your child is as refreshed and ready as possible!

The tests will take place as follows:

Monday – Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling

Tuesday – Reading

Wednesday – Arithmetic Paper 1 and Maths Reasoning Paper 2

Thursday – Maths Reasoning Paper 3

All the children have been extremely focused and dedicated this year. We are very proud of their commitment, enthusiasm and calm, purposeful approach to their learning – all of which will lead to a successful week.

Thank you for all your support. If you have any questions, then please do speak to your class teacher who will be happy to help.
