Daisi Dance Workshop

In March, Daisi Dance came to visit years 4,5 and 6 to working with children in a dance workshop. Daisi is a not-for-profit arts education organisation creating and promoting inspiring artistic and cultural experiences. This enables more children and young people to access the transformative and inclusive power of the arts.

Dance instructor, Kay Crook, worked with the pupils using a range of props and music. Local videographer Sam Brown also came to shoot some wonderful photos and footage of the pupils exploring dance and movement on the day. The pupils had opportunities to experience some Bollywood style dance, some movement sessions involving partners and routines and explored jumps and leaps. All the children involved in the sessions had a brilliant time with great engagement and seizing opportunities to explore movement in a fun and exciting way!
