In Year 5 we have begin learning about Humanism. By understanding what it means to be a Humanist we have been able to pose questions about the source of goodness in mankind. The children have asked questions such as: Are we all good people who do bad things? How does science explain why we exist? What happens after life? and What do Humanists like / dislike about religions? This has been a deep as well as intriguing start to the topic and we are all looking forward to where it might take us!
