Loving History in Year 4!

We are absolutely loving our History in Year 4!  The overarching question we are considering is 'How have pioneering women in history impacted women in 2019?'  We began our learning by reviewing what we had learnt in the Autumn term about Democracy and discussed whether its introduction had made a difference to women in history.  We have focused on four women and learnt about who they were, what they are famous for and how their personal qualities helped them to achieve great things.  These women are amazing and we are particularly impressed with Greta Thunberg who is only 16 but making her strong feelings heard despite being too young to vote.
