New Topic of Antarctica in Year 6

As Year 6 are beginning our new topic of Antarctica next half term, we would like all the children to have gained some insight and inspiration about the topic before returning to school.

With this in mind, we are asking the children to compile an ‘Incredible Antarctic’ fact file. Subjects could include:

· Climate

· Landforms

· Wildlife

· Explorers

· Scientific projects and discoveries

· Treaties

· Ownership

All the teachers were blown away by the commitment and standard of the WW2 posters that the children produced at the start of term and invite more of the same again!
