All children will now have had an opportunity to visit our new library and choose their first home reading book.
In class, children will have taken a Star Reader test and have been given a book level by their class teacher, which will make it easier to choose a book with just the right amount of challenge. When children have finished their book they will be able to take a quiz to see how well they have understood it.
Please encourage children to share and discuss the books they are reading, to help them become confident and independent readers.
