Strategies to Resolve Conflict

Updated: Feb 6, 2020

In November, as part of 'Anti-Bullying Week', we learnt a 5 step strategy to help us resolve minor conflicts. Since then, we have been practising this strategy. Having a step by step guide of how to solve a problem has been a great support for enabling the children to begin to do this independently.

'Using SOLVE made me feel calmer. It helped me to release and let go of 'bad' emotions - I felt it had all been solved at the end. It felt good to solve the problem myself.'
