This week, Cath from Ilfracombe Library came to visit our assemblies to launch the Summer Reading Challenge 2022.
This year's Summer Reading Challenge launches on Saturday 9th July. Barnstaple Library are celebrating with a fun day of activities all linked with this year's theme 'Gadgeteers'.
As previously, children are challenged to read six books over the holiday and collect stickers along the way. On completion, they are awarded with a certificate, medal and entry into a finishers' draw.
Throughout the holiday, the library will have a programme of accompanying events and activities including circus skills, motorised Lego and drawing workshops. There will also be drop-in weekly crafts and Lego sessions
