Year 4 Discover Romans in Devon!

4AC went on an exciting trip to Exeter Museum to find out how The Romans had an impact on Exeter when they invaded Britain. We spent the day learning about; home life, clothing, oil lamps, mosaic and Latin writing. We even touched the tesserae which was used by The Romans 2000 years ago!

'I found it really fascinating that a man from Seaton discovered Roman coins.' Harrison Scovell 4AC

'I didn't know that a Roman bath had been discovered near Exeter Cathedral.' Elliot Smith 4AC

'I learnt that The Romans spoke and wrote in Latin. It was interesting trying to learn how to write the Latin alphabet.' Ava Coleman 4AC
