Our Year 5 History Topic this term has focused on inspiring icons throughout history. We have learned “What makes someone iconic” and debated who we think is the greatest historical icon.
Over Easter, we would like children to research a local hero who you think has made an important difference to our community or is particularly inspiring to you. This could be linked to the pandemic!
Children will have until Tuesday 4th May to make a poster or a fact file about your hero.
We will have time in class to present our local heroes.
Have a lovely Easter holiday, we are looking forward to hearing about some inspiring icons!
